Missions & Outreach Application for Service Project

Trellis Church has allocated funds (given by Brentwood Baptist Church in Nashville, TN) to be used by church members in 2024 for outreach and service opportunities. This “account” is in addition to the funds that are sent quarterly to our local and international ministry partners.

These funds are dedicated to “external benevolence,” meaning the beneficiaries are non-church members, primarily in our local community and neighborhoods. For information on internal benevolence, which is meant to support church members, please reach out to Nicole Gosney.

Who does this project/event/outreach serve? Priority given to local service projects that have potential to serve a greater number of people.

Who is involved? Priority is given to projects/events/outreach that engage a greater number of Trellis Church members.

Does it require outside leaders or volunteers? If so, please come prepared to discuss the plan for recruitment.

What needs are being met? Consider projects that support the following: Food provision, shelter, tangible and necessary provisional items, counseling/classes, building community & relationships, etc.

What potential does this project/event/outreach provide for more building long-term relationships in the community? Particularly relationships that provide opportunities for relational ministry.
